In a few months, I’ll stop by and see if you’re ready.” “What if we buy boomerangs elsewhere?” Janice asked, stunned by his refusal. Boomerang smiled. “That’s what is so beautiful about my job. Hardly anyone understands and has a passion for boomerangs. You’ll wait for me.” “Just like customer loyalty,” Janice said to Bill. “If we could 昀椀gure out how to get our customers to come back, we’d have an edge over the competition.” Bill nodded to Janice and then extended his hand to Boomerang. “We’ll work on our issues 昀椀rst and wait for you to stop by. But how do we know you will?” “You’re asking a boomerang man if he’ll come back?” They all laughed as Bill and Janice said goodbye. And then, they enthusiastically set out to solve their issues. 19
